London to Bratislava.

The past half year has been such a whirlwind of exciting moments. With all the work we forgot to tell you about one of our proudest moments.

In summer 2021 we were selected by the British Department for International Trade as one of the key representatives to highlight Britain’s sustainable fashion industry at their ‘Great Britain and Northern Ireland for a sustainable future’ event, which sought to encourage companies to embrace the ‘Race to Zero’ campaign – a movement that encourages businesses to strive to a zero-carbon post-pandemic recovery.

The event took place in September 2021 at the Primate’s Palace in Bratislava – a 17th century Neoclassical architectural phenomenon now used as the mayor’s office – it gave us a powerful platform to talk about our vision for a regenerative fashion industry.

Our co-founder, designer and Creative Director at Trace Collective, Antonia Halko, was invited to speak on a panel alongside other influential speakers such as Bav Tailor, who created her self-named company (BAV TAiLOR) and Carry Somers, founder of Fashion Revolution UK. Antonia spoke about Trace Collective’s vision and commitment to shaping the future of fashion into one that is regenerative and our goal of creating an innovative business model that blends luxury fashion and regenerative agriculture to create fashion-forward pieces that respect the planet and workers.

The day culminated with a catwalk in the ‘Hall of Mirrors’ at Primate’s Palace, where we showcased our regenerative collection of timeless, gender-fluid wardrobe staples.
